RESORT IT SPECIALIST

Job Summary
The Resort IT Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the health, performance, and security of our IT systems and infrastructure. This individual serves as a direct support resource, responding to technical issues, assisting with network and server management, and contributing to the design and implementation of IT solutions. Additionally, this position collaborates closely with internal departments and to ensure top-of-the-line support for key stakeholders and team members. 


Key Responsibilities
·       Respond promptly to IT support requests via phone, web portal, and email, ensuring high-quality customer service and resolution.
·       Provision and configure systems for new team members.
·       Prioritize and manage incidents and service requests according to SLAs.
·       Troubleshoot issues using remote diagnostic tools; perform onsite support when needed.
·       Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure devices.
·       Perform regular maintenance of workstations, printers, POS Stations, and other peripherals.
·       Maintain and support resort access control systems. 
·       Collaborate on the design and architecture of server and network solutions.
·       Assist the Director of Technology with site surveys, technical assessments, and proposal development.
·       Ensure compliance with Spectrum Resorts’ safety and security standards.
·       Build and maintain positive relationships with team members across departments.

Qualifications & Requirements
·       College diploma or degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 
·       Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11. 
·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra and Windows Azure environments is a plus.
·       Strong understanding of business productivity systems and IT best practices.
·       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to climb ladder as needed
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in the field which requires walking, kneeling, stooping, etc.

Compensation: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Paid Internship Program
Gain hands-on experience during college breaks. Spectrum Resorts offers internships in three areas of the resort. In Food & Beverage you can have the opportunity to experience different areas of F&B such as casual and coastal cuisine restaurants, poolside bar and grill, food trucks and club lounge. Rotation between positions and outlets included. In the Rooms Division you can learn about the guest experience from Reservations to Front Desk to Housekeeping. If you like working outdoors with young guests, our Activities Team may be the best fit for you. This internship includes planning and facilitating on-site activities such as organized games, arts and crafts, competitions and more.
